Just Shoot Me

I felt like that was such an appropriate title for a post about shots! :)

I've been shot with Follistim 6 times now. Tonight I had to shoot myself twice though. My cartridge ran out, so I had to pull the needle out, change the cartridge, put on a new needle, and go again. While I was counting to 5 (I have to wait 5 seconds between injecting the medicine and pulling out the needle), I thought it would be nice for everyone to see what the shot looks like. I feel like I confuse people when I say it's a pen, not a syringe. In the background of the 2nd picture, you can see the case for the shot with the alcohol swabs, the extra needles (they have the pink top), the box it all came in, the directions, the empty Diet Coke bottle for the used needles, and stuff for the HCG shot (if I ever get that far). I didn't lay this all out for the picture; this is just how my dining room table looks now, except there's more medicine on there too. I just couldn't fit it all in the picture. :)
