Round 4 of Clomid, done!

I truly can't believe this was my 4th round of Clomid! Each round is marked vividly in my mind. The days I took it, the emotions, the side effects, the prayers. It's all there like individual chapters in a book.
I was prescribed Clomid originally before I even knew I had pcos. I went to the doctor in September because I was having trouble with my cycle (as I always do when not on birth control), and my doctor took blood and handed me my first Clomid prescription. I was ecstatic driving home because I just knew this was going to be my ticket to motherhood. Little did I know that that day kicked off this new little journey in my life-infertility. The following week, I found out I had pcos, and then I had to wait and see if I would start my period on my own. I did not. On day 42 of my cycle, I started taking Provera (progesterone) to induce a new cycle, and finally, around day 62, I got to a new cycle. That was November 2nd. I got my Clomid prescription filled and prayed over that bottle for days. Two days before Thanksgiving, I found out round 1 had failed. I think I actually felt my heart break that day.  And here we are, 5 months since that first round, and now done with the 4th round.  Wouldn't it be great if this was the last round?!  Just the thought of that brings a smile to my face!
