Some of Our Favorite Things

This is really just a hodge podge of random pictures I've taken lately, but it also shows a little sneak peak into our days and some of the things that make us really happy!

Cooper is at an age where he is very good at expressing what he likes...and what he does NOT like.  We hear a lot about what he does not like these days, but here are some of his favorite things:

Ice Cream

If pictures could talk, you would hear "mmm, mmmm!!!!!"

He really, really, really likes for me to use food coloring and dye his cookies n' cream ice cream green and put sprinkles on it and call it "Ninja Turtle Ice Cream."  It's the little things in life, right?!

I'm pretty sure he'll never outgrow either of these loves.

Building Things with Legos and Lincoln Logs and Blocks

Firetrucks 

This is the Mickey Mouse firetruck we got him for his first birthday.  He loves it now more than ever!

Grazing instead of sitting down and eating his meal at one time

Drives me nuts!!!  Here he is with his apple and oatmeal (with sprinkles...long story...apparently life and food are just better when you put sprinkles on everything!)

*Not pictured are him with his ninja turtles.  That is probably his most favorite thing right now.**

Although Jake cannot tell us what he likes and doesn't like, and he pretty much likes everything, here are some  cute pictures of one super cute baby.

Rockin' and Rollin'

Look who rolled off his mat and got busted in the act?!  I like the way he just flattened himself out after he saw me like he was totally innocent!

We have gotten so much use out of our Rock N' Play, but unfortunately, I think he's just about outgrown it.  Between this, the swing, and a mama who loves to rock her babies, Jake gets plenty of rocking time!

Fingers and Toes

For Cooper, it's sprinkles that make life grand.  For Jake, it's fingers and toes!

The Play Mat

Sometimes you really get your money out of things.  This play mat is one of those things!

The Exercauser

We recently added a new toy to our repertoire since the Rock N' Play is about to be put away.  As you can see, it was a hit!

Sleep

Okay, this one might be one of my favorite things that I don't seem to get enough of these days, but how cute is Jake when he sleeps?!  He lays on his left side and holds his little hands like he's praying.

Brothers

They both seem to think of this as one of their favorite things.
