One year ago today I found out I was pregnant, and I learned to believe in miracles.
8 months later our little baby arrived. It is some kind of special to hold a miracle in your arms!
This has been the most amazing and special year of my life. Each day has been a genuine blessing.
Cooper is our miracle baby and our most precious little gift. After all we went through, what better time to have found out about him than Christmastime, the season of God's love and mercy. As the nurse said when she called that day, "Looks like Santa came early for you!" Indeed he did, but little did we know that the best was still to come.
I got chills reading this post! Wow, I cannot believe it has been a year! It seems like yesterday, Cooper is such a blessing! Merry Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteHey Allison! I found your blog while "blog hoping" and remebered you from high school. Your infertility story was almost identical to mine and reading what you wrote about finding out you were pregnant reminded me of that feeling when I knew my Eli was on the way. It is amazing the love you can have ... and although its difficult I know God chose those struggles for me to walk through and knew they would bring me closer to him. Two years later I am honored beyond belief God chose to give me Eli ... and only 2o months later with NO fertility drugs, another precious son. My boys are 2 years old and 6 month old now.
